How to update the firmware to support the portrait mode

Goal

  • Switch from the landscape mode to the portrait mode

Note

  1. The mode switch between portrait and landscape can not be done on-the-fly during the ADE project execution. A firmware change/update must be executed for the mode switch.

  2. The portrait mode can be switched back to the landscape mode through a firmware change

  3. Currently, only the Ubique Panel 5.0” (CTP) supports the portrait mode.

  4. IOT accepts the request from the customers to update the exiting products’ firmware to support the portrait mode.

Preparation

  1. Download ADE (v3.4.3 or later): Please go to IOT Website for downloading the ADE.

  2. USB A to Micro USB cable
